GUIDE ON SUSTAINABILITY IN NATURAL STONES

 On the first day of the MarmoMacc Stone Fair - 2022 - Verona - WONASA with the collaboration of CENTROROCHAS launched The Wonasa Guide on Sustainability in Natural Stones that clarifies important points about this very evident issue.

Developed for architects, specifiers, interior designers, engineers and professionals of natural stone sector, the guide contains questions and answers about sustainability and environment.

EURO ROC MEETING - NUREMBERG

The members of the European and International Federation of Natural Stone Industries (EuroRoc) had the opportunity to know more about the project It's Natural – Brazilian Natural Stone, carried out by The Centrorochas, in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex Brasil), during a meeting held on June 25, in Nuremberg, Germany. The presentation was made by the international stone specifier, Eng. Paulo Giafarov.

The disclosure takes place after a partnership established between Centrorochas, EuroRoc and the World Natural Stone Association (Wonasa), after a meeting held during Marmo Macc 2021. The meeting was attended by the president of Centrorochas, Mr. Tales Machado, General Secretary of EuroRoc, Mr. Gerd Merke, the president of Wonasa, Mr. Paulo Giafarov and the association's director, Mr. Anil Taneja.

Formed by several European federations of the natural stone industry, EuroRoc coordinates issues of common interest, seeking solutions to collective problems, promoting the use of natural stones, as well as representing them before European institutions, political and industrial bodies, scientific and universities internationally.

During the meeting, Mr. Giafarov reiterated the invitation already made at Marmo Macc 2021 by President, Mr. Tales Machado, for a EuroRoc delegation to visit quarries and companies in Brazil.
